BABY STEPS

Although my knee is still  very sore, I 'm happy to say I was able to complete one of the Hip Hop Abs videos.   So far I've been able to drink, 1.5 liters of water a day, and cut back on food portions.   I'm in the process of replenishing my pantry with healthy foods.  I've decided to incorporate little steps at a time, so it will not overwhelm me and the family.

One step back

Slight change of plans, last evening I some how twisted my leg a different way from my body.  My knee popped, I believe out of socket, It hurt so bad, I was able to lay on my bed and thank GOD it popped by in the socket.  However my knee is extremely sore.  Last two days I've been concentrating on eating healthy.

Day 2

I'm very sore today, and would have love to use that as an excuse not to do any exercise today.  However, since I made a commitment, my family is looking at me, especially my groom.  Which I understand why, to encourage my 10 year daughter to do the same.  It's wet and rainy outside, so I decided to workout in my home.   I'm the type that need to follow instruction for workout.  I've had Hip Hop Abs since February, and only done the video 1 time.   Today was the perfect time to pull out one of the CD's and I went for it.

My first day...

Well, considering that I wanted to sleep in on a Saturday morning.  I got up at 7:20 and saw it was starting to become daylight.   I got on the dreaded scale it said 210.  Hopefully it's wrong.. By the time I was ready to walk around my subdivision it was daylight.  I had my music and I did it!   I walked around the entire neighborhood.  I even went back around 2 streets.  Now, I just need to stay consistent.
