RAINEY DAY!

We decided not to let the rain stop our workout today!  We were delayed a couple of hours, but we did get our workout in, my daughter and I walked only 4 miles today.  I'm happy with that, we both have hugh stomachs so we will do crunches later today.  Tomorrow, I will weigh and take measurements to post, to follow through with goal of losing 10 pounds in a month...

  1. Wholly crap! Woman! If I could walk 4 feet I would be dangerous lol! My back is a beast. I am soooo jealous of your ability to move lol! I am going to add in a little weight lifting in today. Since my back pain is limiting my movements right now. I figure I can sit on my butt and lift weights. PLUS, I tell everyone I am allergic to exercise because it makes me sweat. I hate to sweat lol! I do like lifting small weights and I like Callanetics too. I watch Callanetics videos on Youtube and I pick and choose what I like and don't like at random. I will work my way back to Callanetics and working out on the Wii lol! I also wanted to come over and say THANK YOU for such a beautiful compliment on my eyes. There were 3 of us with these eyes in my family. It was myself and my 2 cousins (siblings). My male cousin had eyes just like mine and they turn colors just like my eyes but he passed away when he was a teenager. His sister is still living and most people cannot tell us apart unless we are right next to each other lol! Her eyes look like mine but they don't change colors. I am hoping I can get her in a video because she is struggling with her weight just like I am and she lost over 200lbs at one time. She recently gained it back and she is trying to do it again. I am trying to encourage her to make it a lifestyle change and not a diet. I can't live on nuts and berries and I know she can't either lol! Don't forget to post recipes we can swap. I am starting mine today!

  2. Lol! Yes, I have back problems as well, but lately it hasn’t been too bad. We have to take one day at a time, and add a little more exercise a day. Just think of all the exercise you get when getting the coupon deals. Also, I start parking a little further from the door so I would have to walk further. It funny what you said about the sweating I felt the same way. But now, I’m proud to be sweaty after working out, it gives me a since of accomplishment, even though I only walk once a week. My Uncle had hazel eyes, God rest his soul, but I did purchase hazel contacts when I was in my twenties LOL! Yes, I thought I was so cute.
    How did your cousin lose weight? The main battle to me, is keeping the weight off, or maintaining. I’ve yo yo diet for many years when I was younger but after having 4 kids, I never was able to keep it off. I think the weight lifting is great, I do a little, and I must say, my groom has noticed my arms are getting more tone, so every little bit helps.
    I have another battle, in which I have a inverted triangle body type, which means (No Booty) Lol, my stomach is bigger than my butt… So I definitely have to work on a flatter stomach. I was listening to a personal trainer who was a guest on a radio station. Sam of http://www.taylormadebodies.com, indicated that anything you eat after 7pm your body stores as fat regardless if it’s healthy. He also indicated that you have to make sure you get plenty of rest, and avoid extra stress, which all contribute to extra belly fat. He said to do 3 types of exercise, natural detox, and plenty water, he said the alkaline water is good to help heal our bodies. Maybe we can find some coupons for fugi, or essential water that LOL! I eat come chocolate with nuts today, I'm going to have to do better tomorrow...
